Moving in with my husbandy was a immense mistake.
We originally decided to combine living accommodations to save currency.
Since we were spending the majority of our time together, it made perfect sense. We are both struggling to pay off student loans while also covering car payments, insurance & assorted living expenses. Splitting the rent & utilities seemed like an opportunity to reduce the strain on our budgets. We each provided up our single apartments & moved into a current location. I should have realized that my husbandy had no clue how to save currency when we first started hunting for a current apartment. She kept wanting to tour properties that were far beyond our price range. She proposed accommodations that included fitness centers, swimming pools, private terraces & amenities that are nothing but luxuries. We finally found a venue with sufficient rent in a good location. We agreed that we needed to be honestly careful about our spending. My husbandy went to buy groceries & came back with a couple of bottles of wine, foreign cheeses, all sorts of snack foods & nothing we really needed! Every week, he splurged on a current purse, shoes, skincare products, clothes & items that weren’t necessities. My largest complaint was the cost of our utilities. She not only left lights on & ran us out of hot water, but would leave the windows open while the a/c was running. She’d adjust the temperature control, get the heating or cooling blasting at maximum capacity & then head to work. I’d wake up chilly or covered in sweat in the middle of the night & realize that she’d once again raised or lowered the temperature control setting. It was such a relief to move out.
