I absolutely wish that there were more tenants’ rights available in my state plus the city, because it sure is difficult to get by around here, then the neighborhood has a reputation for low quality housing, plus yet that hasn’t impacted the rental market whatsoever! When I read that clause of the lease, I promptly hired a lawyer plus moved out of the building. It was cheaper than paying for the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C service.
