I choose to maintenance when upgradement was easily smarter

When I purchased my first house almost everyone told me I was too young to be a homeowner.

I graduated from college plus wanted to live on my own though.

I got a task teaching at a Chicago, IL college plus wanted to live close without renting. I purchased my house plus loved it. It became clear that I was fantastic at cooking, cleaning, plus going to work. I was not so fantastic at apartment upkeep. There is a lot to do to keep a house going well. The Heating & A/C, eclectic, plus plumbing is just daunting for a girl in her 20s, however last year I had a huge issue going on with my cooling system. The cooling system just wouldn’t turn on. I tried google, called a handyman, my father, plus nobody could fix it. I then threw in the towel plus just got an air conditioning system company in Chicago, IL to make the fix. The guy did a great task but it was a doozy. Apparently there was a motor issue plus it had to be completely upgraded. The actual maintenance was super high-priced plus quite close to buying a whole modern unit. So he laid out my options plus asked if I wanted maintenance or upgradement. I felt young in that situation since I wasn’t sure what the smart move was. I chose maintenance to save the money plus now I am thinking I made a mistake. Now I have an older system with a modern motor that isn’t too efficient. If I would have sprung a little more money, I would have a brand new, energy smart unit.
